Microsoft License Installments — How It Works

lic.ge is the only place in the Georgian market where you can buy an official Microsoft license in installments — not just as a single payment. This page explains the two different options — installments and buy-now-pay-later — and helps you choose the right one.

Installments vs Buy-Now-Pay-Later — the difference

Installments (BoG)

Standard bank installments over 3 to 24 months, with 0% additional interest. Requires a personal ID number — the bank verifies your installment terms through its own calculator at checkout. Available through Bank of Georgia.

Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL, Bank of Georgia only)

A short-term "buy now, pay later" format through Bank of Georgia. Faster and simpler for lower-priced licenses where a full 24-month installment isn't necessary. The first 4 months are interest-free — after that, the bank adds its own interest rate, shown exactly in the bank's calculator.

How to set up installments

  1. 1Choose a license from the catalog and go to checkout.
  2. 2Select "Installments" or "Buy-Now-Pay-Later" as the payment method and enter your personal ID number.
  3. 3Open the bank's calculator, choose your term, and confirm the terms directly in the bank's window.
  4. 4Complete the order — your license key arrives by email within 5–15 minutes of payment confirmation.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need extra documents for installments?

A personal ID number is enough — the bank's calculator checks installment eligibility and terms itself at checkout.

Is there an extra fee for installments?

Standard 3–24 month installments carry 0% additional interest — the bank's calculator shows the exact monthly payment at checkout.

Can I buy any license in installments?

Yes — every license in the catalog is available as a one-time payment, in installments, or via buy-now-pay-later.

What's the difference between installments and buy-now-pay-later?

Installments are longer-term (3–24 months) and available through Bank of Georgia. Buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) is shorter-term and also available only through Bank of Georgia.
